.NET Developer

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
The Software Developer position is involved in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle pertaining to the suite of Army Record Information Management (ARIMS) web applications.  Working in a complex and dynamic environment, developer will interface with Web Designers, Database Administrators, System Administrators, and application user community to bring each sustainment task to a successful closure.  All team members must be compliant with Capability Maturity methodologies. 

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
This position requires full-stack software development with special emphasis in Object Oriented Design and Analysis, .NET framework 4.5, C#, JQuery, and Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) server. This position also requires interfacing with end-users to gather requirements, present briefings on technical issues, as well as technical solutions to new or existing requirements.

Candidate should be proficient with the following: C# 3.5 or greater, ASP.Net, WinForms, .NET Web Services/WCF, and Windows Services; MS SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, and Table design) and MS SQL Server Reporting Services 2008; MS SharePoint 2007 or greater; XML, XSL, XHTML, CSS, AJAX; and JavaScript, JQuery in particular. Hands-on experience in Design Patterns is preferred.

Candidate should have 10 years of relevant professional experience in the use of similar application software and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Studies or a discipline related to the work required from an accredited college or university. Additional years of experience can be substituted years for education. 

A current technical certification of one of the following is acceptable for this position to start this job:  SSCP, A+ CE, CCNA-Security, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, or GSEC.   If the candidate has a higher level certification (more for IA positions) these are also acceptable:  CISSP, CASP, CISA, GCED, or GCIH.

Note:  The customer has agreed to start an individual with the Security + certification, but will need to complete the Security + CE certification within 2-3 months of start date. 


All on-site representatives are required to hold current United States of America citizenship.  A minimum SECRET security clearance is required, but contract will hold up to TOP SECRET.
