Payroll Clerk

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Payroll Clerk for one of our well-established clients here in the Birmingham area.  

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

  • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data for multiple clients
  • Review payroll submissions for accuracy and enter into company software system
  • Ensure payroll is entered and processed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Update and correct payroll discrepancies as necessary
  • Responsible for payroll data entry
  • Responsible for printing and packaging of payroll reports, checks, and stubs

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous payroll experience preferred, not required
