ITAC Solutions Welcomes Michael Hyche

ITAC Solutions welcomes Michael Hyche to the team as an IT Recruiter in the Birmingham office. Michael graduated with a degree in Marketing and has worked mainly in sales but is eager to dive into the recruiting world! Learn more about Michael in our Q&A!

Q: Why did you want to work for ITAC?

A: Growing up the area, I had always heard good things about ITAC.  After meeting a few members of the team here, it was very clear to me that they really mean it when they say they have a heart of service and are committed to both their clients and their potential candidates.

Q: Tell us a little bit about your background.

A: I went to the University of Alabama and got a degree in Marketing.  I’ve worked predominately in sales roles most recently as a Sales Coordinator for a distributer in the Automation Industry. This is my first recruiting experience and I’m excited about it.

Q: What are you looking forward to in your new role?

A: I’m looking forward to the relationships and the network that I’ll build.

Q: What is something you want clients to know about you?

A: I’m here for them and I’m a resource for them.  If they need me, they can call me at any time.

Q: What is your favorite part about working in Birmingham?

A: Birmingham has transformed over the last decade so it’s really cool to be a part of that change and it’s a lot of fun.

Q: Who is your biggest role model?

A: My father.  He’s overcome a lot of adversity and he’s made me the person I am today.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right” Henry Ford

Q: Bookworm, movie buff or Netflix binger?

A: I’m either a bookworm or a movie buff.  I’m currently reading The Wind-up Bird Chronicle.

Q: Where do you like to hang out in Birmingham?

A: I live in the Highland Park area and it’s really cool so probably one of the parks around there.

Q: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

A: People might be surprised to learn that I have a huge passion for music – playing it, hearing it, experiencing it.  I love it. Any genre.  I don’t discriminate.
