ITAC Solutions Welcomes Christy Williams

February 4, 2020

ITAC Solutions is excited to welcome Christy Williams to the Birmingham office as the Enterprise Sales Leader. Having worked in business consulting for many years, Christy is eager to begin connecting people to the right opportunities. Learn more about Christy in our Q&A below!

Q: Tell us about your responsibilities in your job.

A:  My job is basically to help push forward the vision of ITAC.  I oversee the Sales and Development portion of our Business Development team. It’s extremely important for me to get out, know my clients, build the brand in the community and bring that back to see ways that we are able to continue to evolve and meet our client and candidate needs.

Q: Tell us about your background.

A: I have been in business consulting from a consultant and leadership role mainly working with Enterprise accounts and some mid-market accounts with anything from Advertising to IT to Payroll/HR Solutions and being that partner to local businesses as well.

Q: What are looking forward to in your new role?

A: I am absolutely looking forward to getting out and meeting with our clients, finding ways that we can help them, connecting people with the right opportunities and just overall seeing where we are able to go over the next year.

Q: What is something you want clients to know about you?

A: I am a connector.  I am a problem-solver. If I see a need, I am very committed to making sure that I follow through and provide as many solutions as we can so that ultimately, we can have a victory.

Q: What is your favorite part about working in Birmingham?

A: I’ve lived in Birmingham about 17 years and what I absolutely love about Birmingham is that it is a bigger city, but it has a very small community feel to it. If you go out and grab coffee at a Starbuck’s, you’re going to see someone you know.  It’s very easy to continue to network here.

Q: Who is your biggest role model?

A: My grandmother is absolutely my role model.  She had my mother and married when she was 15 years old.  She went on to be a bread winner and overcome all the obstacles that came her way but somehow is one of the most patient and gracious people I have ever met in my life. I strive to have the level of calm while being as confident and productive as she is to be able to provide the way that she does.

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: “You miss every shot that you don’t take” because many people just sit on the other side of fear and don’t step out and do it.

Q: Bookwork, movie buff or Netflix binger?

A: I am an audible book person.  Simon Sinek and John Maxwell are two of my favorites - anything I can read to help with self-awareness.  For Netflix, I’m the weirdo that will wait until seasons are over and then go back just so I can binge-watch it.

Q: Where is your favorite place to hang out in Birmingham?

A: I have 3 daughters that do competitive cheerleading, so even though I would love to hang out at different places, you will find me at the Finley Center or the BJCC for cheer competitions.

Q: Tell us about your family.

A: I’m the mother of 3 daughters. My oldest daughter is in the process of applying to Auburn.  We have 2 dogs and 2 guinea pigs.
