Q: What made you want to work for ITAC?
A: Every person I interviewed with at ITAC was very friendly and genuine. I really enjoyed the culture here. I asked each person about the culture, and they all said the same thing: It’s very family-oriented and team-based. Plus, the four core values of the company really hit home for me.
Q: What are you looking forward to in your new position?
A: The competitiveness.
Q: What’s one thing you really want candidates to know about you?
A: I’m a very personable and approachable person. Candidates can come to me with anything that they are struggling with in looking for a job.
Q: Who’s your biggest role model?
A: My finance professor from Auburn. She really cares about her students. She knows how to be professional but still have a good time. She can relax in class and crack jokes, while being good at her job and counting every student as an actual student—not just a number.
Q: What’s your favorite quote, saying or piece of advice?
A: Honestly, just to do your best at everything you do. As long as you are trying your best, even if the results are bad, at least you did your best.
Q: What are three words that describe you?
A: Inclusive. Personable. Driven.
Q: What’s your favorite summer activity?
A: Going to the lake! I love boating and tubing!
Q: What’s something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
A: Most people would be surprised to learn that I started as a secondary math education major.
Q: What is your favorite place to hang out in Birmingham?
A: I love to hammock in the Preserve. My favorite bar is probably Paramount because of the old timey games it has.
Q: Anything you want to add about family, pets or hobbies?
A: I have 2 older sisters. One is married with three kids, who are the cutest things in the entire world. My parents are super fun to be around. My middle sister is a math teacher at Hewitt Trussville at the high school. I love painting when I get a chance and riding around listening to music. And lastly, I love Auburn University more than anything else—War Eagle!
