Q: What made you want to work for ITAC?

A: In April, I will have been with ITAC for 6 years.  It’s the culture and the people that I love.  We get along and work really well together – I think that’s what sets ITAC apart.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: My favorite part of my job is helping people find a job and when they call you all excited and happy that they’ve found their next position.

Q: What’s one thing you want candidates or clients to know about ITAC?

A: I would want candidates to know that I have their best interest at heart.  When I say I want to help find them a job, I really do, and I mean it.

Q: What sets Mobile apart as a place to work and live?

A: Mobile has big-city amenities, but a small-town feel.  It’s a family-friendly place.  As far as work goes, the small-town feel enables us to make a lot of connections with people. And personally, it’s a great place to live because it’s family-friendly and close to the water.  There’s always something to do.  You can get in the car and go fishing 10 minutes down the road or be at the beach within an hour!

Q: What jobs are most in demand in Mobile?

A: CPAs with public accounting experience are highly and frequently sought after.

Q: Do you anticipate job growth in specific industries in Mobile?

A: We have a new Amazon distribution center that’s bringing a lot of jobs in.  AirBus also has a new assembly plant addition that is attracting a lot of engineers. Plus, since Mobile is a port city, there is always a lot of growth with ship building and steel.

Q: What are three words that describe you?

A: I am self-motivated, very organized (in my house every drawer is very organized – everything has a place) and reliable.  If I tell you I’m going to be somewhere or do something, I’m going to do it.

Q: Tell me about your family.

A: My husband, Kirk, and I have two beautiful daughters – Katie is 4 and Sandy is 1 ½.  We have a really big golden retriever named Brady who is 7.   All of my free time is spent with my kids.  When we can, we like to go to the beach and go swimming or just be outdoors.

Q: What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?

A: Recently at my gym, I became the fastest female one-mile runner and 2nd overall.
