ITAC Solutions Welcomes Katharine Patton to the Birmingham Team
ITAC Solutions is thrilled to welcome Katharine Patton to the Birmingham team as an Associate Recruiter! Prior to joining the ITAC team, Katharine held a digital marketing/web development role in the healthcare industry in Washington D.C. and worked in the executive search space in Nashville. Katharine is looking forward to the fast-paced, big-team environment that ITAC and the staffing industry offer. To learn more about Katharine, check out this Q&A:
Q: What made you want to work for ITAC?
A: I think the thing that makes ITAC stand out is the people—their integrity, their energy and working together in a group environment. That’s really something that ITAC has that is unique and I haven’t found elsewhere.
Q: What are you looking forward to in your new position?
A: I’m excited about being a part of the full life cycle of clients and candidates and having my hands in all aspects of the search process. It’s something I haven’t had before, so I’m excited to learn!
Q: What’s one thing you really want candidates to know about you?
A: I want candidates to know that they can reach out to me with any questions they have. There’s nothing too weird or awkward. We can talk about anything, and I want them to be comfortable around me so I can find the best fit for them.
Q: Who’s your biggest role model?
A: In general, my family. We are very close and tight knit. They have been very supportive and encouraging in this real-world job search process.
Q: What’s your favorite piece of advice?
A: I was once told to “always make my bed every morning, because then you have done something.” I thought it was funny at the time, but it’s legitimate advice.
Q: What’s your favorite quote or saying?
A: “Just smile and wave, boys!” It applies professionally and socially—it means to just go with the flow, and I tend to stick with that.
Q: What are three words that describe you?
A: Positive. Energetic. Hard-working.
Q: What’s your favorite summer activity?
A: Going to the beach!
Q: What is your favorite place to hang out in Birmingham?
A: I’m from Birmingham, but I haven’t lived here in about 8 years, so I’m excited to try out some new bars and restaurants. Currently, my favorite restaurant is El Barrio, so I’ll definitely be going there!
Q: Anything you want to add about family, pets or hobbies?
A: My dog’s name is Laila, and she’s awesome! 😊
