We are currently assisting our client in their search for an experienced bookkeeper to add to their team. The Bookkeeper will perform general accounting and record keeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly closing and prepare various reports.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

  • Balance sheet reconciliations and posting to general ledger within QuickBooks
  • Preparing and entering journal entries
  • Generating financial packets and updating budgets
  • Communicating with owners and executive management about financial results

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a progressive accounting/bookkeeping role
  • Extensive Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable knowledge
  • Excellent MS Excel experience
  • QuickBooks preferred
  • Knowledge of financial statement preparation
