ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for a great firm in the Birmingham, AL area.
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
- Perform secretarial and administrative support of complex, sensitive, and confidential matters in a fast-paced legal environment
- Prepare initial drafts of routine documents, minutes, and correspondence
- Proofread and edit materials with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain communication with clients via inbound and outbound calls, mail, and email
- Coordinate and appointments and manage attorney’s complex calendar
- Open and maintain legal files
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
- Minimum of 2 years of legal administrative assistance
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to type 55 words per minute
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
