Here’s what you need to know:
Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Role Type: Contract / Full time / 1-2 months
Location: Birmingham, AL / In Office
Salary: $23+, depending on experience
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
- Process vendor invoices
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger
- Verify and investigate discrepancies
- Generate reports
- Understand GL expense accounts and cost centers
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
- Reviewing and Approving Expense Reimbursement reports
- Interaction with company legal team and billing department
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
Experience:
- 2-3 years of strong, high-volume accounts payable experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Proficency with Microsoft Office
- Team player
- Great communicatioin skills
- Ability to multi-task
