Accounts Payable Supervisor

Our client, a growing company in Birmingham, AL, is seeking an experienced AP Supervisor to join their team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Compensation: $70,000 (flexible depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Management of AP processes to ensure timely and accurate accounting of AP and job cost Responsible for providing technical support for SAP Concur Invoice and Expense
• Assist AP Manager in month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
• Manage AP for multiple ongoing construction projects
• Manage weekly check runs to ensure timely payments and proper approvals, including working account statements
• Manage vendor relationships and adherence to document requirements including annual 1099 reporting
• Responsible for analyzing AP metrics and working with AP Manager to develop strategy on improving metrics

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience with increasing levels of responsibility and preferably Construction industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word, Adobe PDF, Experience with Construction Accounting software
