We are currently seeking an Application Support Technician for a large, global client in Brooklyn, NY.  

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

This position is to assist in providing 24/7 application support to the 911 operators. 

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

Candidates will be expected to perform the following roles in support of the environment:

  • Supplying the initial technical support to 911 communications center staff.
  • Coordinate with other support personnel when resolving user issues.   
  • Must be willing to work a shift pattern of five shifts totaling 40 hours per week with occasional shift changes and overtime opportunities. The slot is comprised of Monday to Friday evening shifts.
  • Suitable applicant will be given the necessary training in the 911 software.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience of supporting end users face-to-face.

Strong communications skills, written and verbal.

Must be able to pass and maintain favorable background check.

Desired Experience

Public Safety solution related software.

Call center end user IT support.
