Assistant Controller

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000/annually DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing the periodic closing of accounting records and preparation of financial statements.
• Assisting in the preparation of various tax returns, including property, sales, and corporate taxes.
• Monitoring and reconciling financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Providing direction and support to accounting staff and fostering teamwork.
• Collaborating with external auditors during annual audits and interim reviews.
• Analyzing financial data to support management decision-making.
• Maintaining detailed accounting records in line with company policies and accounting standards.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven team player.
• Stable job history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
