Plant Assistant Controller / Cost Accountant, Manufacturing Accounting
Our client is seeking a dynamic Plant Assistant Controller to support operations across multiple locations. Compensation

• $90,000 – $105,000, depending on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare monthly site journal entries and manage the plant inventory ledger close process
• Monitor production reporting daily and analyze variances
• Maintain standard costs for all parts and finished goods across assigned locations
• Oversee inventory accuracy through audits and transaction monitoring
• Provide cost center spend analysis and monthly KPI reporting to plant management
• Support capital requests and conduct ROI analysis on proposed asset purchases
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Strong ERP system experience; Dynamics 365 is a big plus
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing operations and cost accounting
• Cost Accounting experience is Required
• Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Comfortable interacting and collaborating across multiple plant teams without direct supervisory responsibility
• Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-financial teams
