ITAC is assisting our client in their search for a talented Billing/Accounting Clerk to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. If you’re a detail-oriented, customer- focused professional with a passion for numbers and organization, this role is perfect for you!

Birmingham, AL / Full-Time – Contract -to-Hire/ On-Site
Compensation: $20/hour
What you’ll be doing (position duties):
- Prepare and process precise invoices promptly.
- Ensure invoice accuracy, from pricing to terms.
- Resolve billing discrepancies with professionalism.
- Provide top-notch customer support regarding payment status.
- Process vendor invoices and expense reports efficiently.
- Code and approve invoices for payment.
- Manage payments through various methods.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks when required.
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need to be considered (required):
- An Associate degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
- Experience/familiarity with McLeod software is a plus.
- Proven experience in billing and accounts payable functions.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in imaging software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
- Problem-solving skills to tackle billing and payment issues effectively.
- Knowledge of industry-specific billing and payment procedures is a bonus.
