Billing Specialist – CONTRACT

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to keep customer accounts accurate and on track. In this role, you’ll be the one ensuring transactions are processed correctly and issues are resolved before they ever become problems. It’s an opportunity to play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly, while working alongside a collaborative customer service and logistics team.
Benefits & Extras:

• Weekly pay via direct deposit or a pay card.

Compensation:

• $20–25/hr (Contract through February 1st, with potential to extend or convert)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create and issue accurate customer invoices.
• Verify supporting records to catch and correct discrepancies.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve billing questions quickly.
• Support accounts receivable with reconciliation efforts.
• Review and process carrier charges for payment.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• 5+ years of billing/ accounting experience. 
• Experience with JD Edwards is a plus. Comfortable in Excel. 
• High volume experience.
• Logistics or Construction industry is a plus.
