Builder Superintendent / Senior Project Manager

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Builder Superintendent/ Senior Project Manager for a construction company in the Birmingham area. This position will be managing projects and project managers.  In order to be considered, a candidate must have 5-10 years of experience working on commercial projects / multi-family.

Annual Salary: $100k-120k per year.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Oversees job sites and ensures projects meet the plans/specifications
• Provide timely and effective communication to contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders
• Set schedules for subcontractors, and update and communicate changes to the schedule daily
• Responsible for Safety Program and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Perform regular inspections of job sites
• Create and revise project schedules, scopes, and lookaheads
• Develop job scopes for various trades
• Assist in Bid and Procurement Processes, and conduct interviews with PMs before awarding contracts

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• 5 -10 years of managing commercial projects / multi-family 
• OSHA 30-Hour Completion Card
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication

What could set you apart from the rest (preferred skills/experience/knowledge):

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
