Business Analyst

ITAC is helping a great organization in Birmingham, AL as they search for a Business Analyst to join their team. The Business Analyst is involved in the creation of comprehensive requirements for assigned projects and overseeing the user acceptance testing process to ensure IT deliverables align with business needs.

Pay Rate: $40-50/ hour. This is a contract position. 

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Define and execute the UAT test plan.
• Document meticulous test scenarios and test scripts.
• Guide stakeholders through the UAT process, ensuring their engagement.

• Demonstrate a broad understanding of application programming and Agile software development methodologies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• A track record of 3-5 years as a Business Analyst within an IT environment
• Experience operating within Agile, Scrum, and waterfall methodologies
• Possession of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification is a valuable asset.
• Proficiency in crafting test scripts and/or test plans.
• Competence with tools such as MS Project, Visio, and Word.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is advantageous.
• Demonstrated skill in process mapping and prototyping design.
• Additional certifications or advanced degrees are viewed favorably.
