Business Analyst

ITAC is helping a great organization in Birmingham, AL as they search for a Business Analyst to join their team. This candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business by delivering data-driven solutions to project stakeholders.

This individual will also facilitate requirements gathering and technical documentation to accomplish operational needs. The Business Analyst is a crucial player in the business, and the right candidate will be well-spoken, organized, process-oriented, and a self-starter. This role is onsite, the right candidate needs to be local to Birmingham, AL.

Pay Rate: $40-45/ hour. This is a contract-to-hire position. 

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience in formal techniques in business requirements collection and analysis
• Proficiency in multiple Software Development Life Cycle principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Access, Word, Excel, and Visio is required.
• Strong documentation and tracking skills are required.
• Familiarity or the ability to develop familiarity with information architecture principles is preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience of Agile Methodology particularly, ATDD.
