Cost Accountant

ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for a great company in the Huntsville, AL area.  The position is 100% onsite

Direct Hire (salary+benefits)

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Maintain the cost accounting systems
• Perform and report on cost audits
• Analyze variances
• Recommend cost controls, including corrective actions
• Create appropriate documentation
• Very strong attention to detail and analytical abilities

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Competent in Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong team player
• BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
