We are currently seeking a Customer Service/Documentation Specialist for an office in Sumiton, AL. This role is contract-to-hire and will require great attention to detail when handling patient records and data entry. 

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

  • Updating and creating records and verification of applications
  • Verifying data for accuracy and completion
  • Coordinating the logistics of sending records from one office site to another
  • Contacting customers, mailing orders and submitting change requests
  • Answering or escalating questions to next level of troubleshooting

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 – 2 years of customer service experience
  • Call Center experience preferred
  • Proficiency with PC's and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrate high-level communication skills by expressing thoughts and information clearly and succinctly using proper business English and correct grammar
  • Communicates information in a tactful and positive manner at all times
