HR Manager

Attention all Human Resources Managers with payroll processing expertise! ITAC Solutions has teamed up with a fabulous company in the Trussville, AL area in their search for an HR Manager. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter, who cares about building relationships. This person will have a presence and involvement with all levels of employees. This is an onsite role.

Salary is around $70k – 80k/ year commensurate with experience.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Balancing all payroll information and processing the payroll
• Updating hours worked, vacation pay, sick pay, and more in the HRIS
• Working with accounting to reconcile the payroll ledger, as well as adjusting quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Benefit management, including open enrollment and being the main source of benefit information
• Responsible for New Hire orientation, all onboarding paperwork, including W-2s, and employee relationship management
• Owns the recruiting process, interviewing, sourcing, and hiring
• Conducts terminations and exit interviews
• Reconciles monthly vendor bills and submits them to accounting for approval
• Handles unemployment claims
• Oversee and manage FMLA, COBRA, ADA, and other government-run employee programs
• Reporting at State and Federal level
• Other projects as assigned

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
• Minimum of 5 years of professional HR experience
• Experience in HRIS systems and related software applications, such as Paylocity.
• Payroll experience
• Benefit Management experience
• Excellent communication (Verbal and Written)
