Inside Sales Specialist

ITAC Solutions is assisting a great client in their search for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Inside Sales Specialist in the Madison, AL area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing quotes, contracts, and responses to customer inquiries. Your contribution will extend to developing and delivering compelling sales presentations, negotiating prices, and managing inventory knowledge. 

Pay Rate: $60k-$65k/yr 
This position is fully on-site. 

What you'll be doing (duties of this position):

• Prepare and generate quotes, contracts, and responses to RFP/RFI inquiries from clients.
• Craft and deliver professional and effective sales presentations.
• Engage in price negotiations, project management tasks, and showcase expertise in inventory management.
• Prioritize safety by adhering to all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain precise pricing and configurations in all documentation related to quotes.
• Ensure that sales demonstration tools and applications are consistently updated.
• Develop technical presentations tailored for potential customers.
• Stay abreast of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
• Attend supplier training sessions with customers to foster positive relations and ensure compliance.
• Analyze intricate technical information to provide accurate and timely responses to stakeholders.
• Manage data accurately in various formats for internal analysis and customer submissions.
• Independently identify problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Foster collaboration and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders within a team-oriented environment.

What you'll need to be considered (requirements):

• Experience working with pricing within a high-volume company, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze complex technical information.
• Proficient in Excel, ERP systems (experience with Plex is a plus, but open to others like SAP).
