Parts Manager

ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Parts Manager for a great company in the Northport area.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Responsible for ordering original and supplemental parts
• Ensure all call-to-confirm appointments are done at least three days in advance
• Receive and inspect all ordered parts, post the invoices and scan, and link all invoices into company specific system
• Responsible for entering notes in RTS of all parts orders and who the parts were ordered from
• Distribute all received parts to the appropriate department and technician at the direction of the production manager
• Responsible for the return of all parts that are not needed, wrong, damaged, or defective after inspection
• Participate in morning meetings and update on part problems such as missing, damaged, or backordered parts
• Check RTS messages and emails for any information regarding lost opportunities and total losses
• Responsible for discussing recurring problems you are having with part vendors with your area manager that you have not been able to solve locally
• Help the other people in your front office with their duties if they fall behind and you are caught up

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Management and Parts inventory experience required
• Ability to pass drug test
• Strong verbal and people skills
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
