ITAC Solutions is assisting a great client in their search for a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. This exciting opportunity is in beautiful Mobile, AL and the successful candidate will perform various tasks supporting the Payroll Department.
Pay Range: $16-18/ hr.
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data for multiple clients
- Answer questions about payroll status, update information the system
- Review payroll submissions for accuracy and enter into the software system
- Ensure payroll is entered and processed correctly and in a timely manner
- Update and correct payroll discrepancies as necessary
- Assist in other projects as assigned
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
- Payroll experience, required
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Clerical experience, or experience supporting an accounting department (comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to listen, communicate, and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers, great proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
- Payroll Experience
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines.
- Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Able to handle highly confidential information.
