ITAC Solutions is seeking a Backgrounds Specialist for a great company in the Birmingham area. This person will be able to multi-task and problem solve effectively.   


What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

  • Utilize various electronic public access systems to perform detailed research
  • Monitor and track all assigned searches, documenting notes into system  
  • Process criminal product requests, maintaining strict deadlines
  • Contact courts, court clerks, and county offices by phone and email to verify confidential information
  • Apply federal, state, county, and client restrictions to client search requests
  • Organize and compile state required documentation for the release of court records
  • Communicate information in a professional and civil manner
  • Ensure work is free of errors and meets all quality assurance standards


What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Professional customer service and/or account management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be able to key 45 WPM and 5000 KPH
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
