Compensation: $50,000 per year
What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs tailored to the automotive manufacturing environment
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement controls
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientations and ongoing education
• Maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
• Analyze safety data and prepare regular reports for management
• Lead safety committee meetings to discuss concerns and propose solutions
• Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) availability and effectiveness
• Oversee safety practices of on-site vendors and contractors

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Professional certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH)
• OSHA 30 Hour with Train-the-Trainer endorsement
• Relevant degree from an accredited college/university
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations at all levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in safety management software and tools
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
