Our Transportation and Logistics client seeks an experienced Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant to be groomed for a Controller role. Compensation: 
$75K-$85K (DOE)

What you’ll be doing: 
•    GL Accounting.
•    Assist with Financial Reporting. 
•    Assists with producing the annual budget and forecasts. 
•    Reports and financial analysis as needed. 
•    Work with an outside CPA firm. 
•    Calculating commissions for the sales department. 
Requirements for the role
•    A four-year accounting degree from an accredited college
•    Excellent GAAP knowledge and Strong Financial Reporting skills.
•    Responsible for onboarding new employees, including employment documents and benefit enrollment. 
•    Performance evaluations. 
•    Manage workers' compensation report claims.
•    Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts. Reconciled vendor bills and submitted for payment. 
•    Reconcile Bank Credit Card Accounts. 
•    Manage the back-office activities, including billing, collections, carrier billing auditing, and carrier insurance monitoring.
