Staff Accountant

ITAC Solutions is assisting our client in their search for an experienced staff accountant to join their team. 

Here’s what you need to know:

Title: Staff Accountant
Role Type: Direct Hire / Full time
Location: Mobile, AL/ Onsite
Salary: Depends on Experience

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Assisting with the preparations of financial statements
• Assist with month end close.
• Processing accounts payable
• Filing sales and use tax returns.
• Reconciling various accounts
• Analyzing financial data
• Additional Projects as assigned.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, required.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or general accounting role
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience working with accounting software.
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Strong presentation skills
