System Administrator

ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced System Administrator for full time, direct hire position with a great company in Huntsville, AL.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Implement DoD Information Systems Agency STIGS
• Perform vulnerability scans and implement technical security controls
• Develop system security plans

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
• Certification: CompTIA Security+
• BS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field 
• 4 years of IT experience with at least 4 years as a Unix/Windows System Admin
• Knowledge of network ports and protocols, patch management and system monitoring
• Proficient with the Linux OS
• Proficient with the Linux CLI and OS hardening
• Ability to manage servers and multiple computers in several locations
• Experience with both copper and fiber optic connections
