Salary: 95K to 130K (DOE)
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
Detailed Review of Tax Returns:
- Thoroughly review Federal and state Individual, Partnership, and corporate tax returns for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Identify potential discrepancies, errors, and opportunities for optimization.
Preparation of Complex Tax Returns:
- Skillfully prepare complex Federal and state Individual, Partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate calculations and proper documentation.
- Stay updated on changes to tax codes and regulations that may impact the preparation process.
Quarterly Estimated Tax Payments and Tax Planning:
- Conduct detailed reviews of quarterly estimated tax payments, identifying opportunities for adjustments to minimize tax liability.
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective tax planning strategies that align with their financial goals.
- Provide expert advice on tax-efficient methods to optimize financial outcomes.
Tax and Business Consulting Projects:
- Contribute to a variety of tax and general business consulting projects, applying your expertise to offer valuable insights and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive services tailored to clients' unique needs.
Research on Complex Tax Issues:
- Research intricate tax issues and challenges to provide well-informed recommendations.
- Interpret and analyze tax laws, regulations, and guidelines to offer accurate advice to clients.
- Engage in effective communication with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
- Clearly convey complex tax concepts, findings, and recommendations in a comprehensible manner.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
- 5 or more years of experience in public accounting
- CPA certification, required.
- Experience in real estate and construction industries is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
