Tier II Technician

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of computer and storage resources including hardware/ software support
• Assist in coordinating projects or tasks including data center-related cabling changes
• Assist in installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware/ software
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot the Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Oversees physical and virtual network servers
• Research, analyze, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve server or data center network problems
• Troubleshoot PC hardware and software issues
• Use ITSM to document and resolve requests
• Assists in planning, coordinating, and consulting with vendors and clients for hardware/ software purchase
• Installing and supporting software applications and peripheral equipment
• Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Manage the SCCM environment for the enterprise
• Imaging computers
• Providing support
• Office 365 administration

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and TCP/IP
• 3+ years of experience installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining the network and system hardware and software
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking technologies and protocols.
• Desktop and laptop Break/fix experience
• Experience imaging computers
• Experience with SCCM
