Senior Water / Wastewater Engineer

Lead the development of transformative infrastructure that impacts entire communities. Our client is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to spearhead critical municipal and industrial water projects across the Southeast. This role blends high-level project leadership with technical design expertise, offering you the chance to directly shape clean water access and sustainable systems.

Compensation

• $135,000 – $165,000 (DOE)
• Bonus potential for the right candidate

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams for municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects
• Manage planning, design, construction, and start-up services
• Develop specs, cost estimates, technical reports, and schedules
• Oversee project QA/QC and ensure technical compliance
• Maintain strong client relationships and communication
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing and workload planning
• Contribute to proposals and business development efforts

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master's degree preferred
• PE license in Tennessee (plus AL, GA, or SC preferred)
• Deep background in water/wastewater treatment plant design
• Active participation in engineering associations or industry groups
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to relocate or currently local to Nashville
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
