Accounting Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Our client is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-moving distribution environment. This role plays a key part in keeping inventory, vendor payments, and customer billing accurate while working closely with the warehouse, sales, and leadership teams. Compensation

• $17–$22 per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Perform purchase orders invoices

• Research and help resolve pricing or quantity variances

• Enter and update financial data 

• Perform reconciliations

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Familiarity with accounting processes in a high-volume environment

• 1+ years of Accounting experience in both AP/ AR

• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop REQUIRED

• Strong communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
