Production Control & Logistics Manager
You’ll be the person who keeps the plant moving—designing line-side material delivery and conveyance routes that support true JIT sequencing, mixed loading, and 30-minute delivery frequency. This role blends analysis, hands-on floor partnership, and practical system design to protect uptime and eliminate “we’re down because we’re out of parts.” You’ll also lead Shipping & Receiving and drive continuous improvement that shows up in real results.

Compensation: $125,000
What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design plant-wide material flow and line-side delivery routes for JIT sequencing (30-minute frequency)
• Conduct time studies, space measurements, and equipment/process surveys to gather hard data
• Create layouts and specify material handling systems, equipment, and delivery methods
• Evaluate automation options and partner with vendors to price and validate solutions
• Lead A3/Kaizen improvements within the conveyance function
• Manage projects for cart and tugger design, implementation, and installation readiness
• Lead Shipping & Receiving operations while maintaining zero downtime for material shortages

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent work experience or training.
• 3 plus years supervisory experience in a production environment, preferable in the automotive industry
• Working knowledge of plant logistics and inventory control/flow processes is preferred

• Ability to design JIT line-side delivery systems and practical routing models
• Comfort creating layouts/space designs tied to material handling equipment selection
• Ability to evaluate automated conveyance solutions and manage vendor partnerships
• Experience leading Kaizen/A3 problem-solving in a plant environment
• Ability to manage budgets, purchase orders, and equipment quotations
• Willingness to lead and develop a team across conveyance and shipping/receiving
