Staff Accountant / Junior Accountant – Onsite, Birmingham, AL

Compensation

• $50,000 – $70,000, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform cash and banking reconciliations

• Post journal entries and support month-end close activities

• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis

• Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure accurate data

• Participate in special projects and process improvements

• Learn and navigate ERP systems for accounting functions

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Foundational accounting skillset (GL, reconciliations, journal entries)

• GL Accounting experience – cash and banking reconciliations experience

• Detail-oriented and growth-oriented mindset

• Strong Excel skills

• Ability to adapt to multiple accounting systems

• 1-4 years of experience
