Compensation: $75-85/hour

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Enhance and extend a legacy PHP-based marketing automation platform
  • Build AI-powered, agent-driven features to improve user experience
  • Develop backend services in PHP and frontend components using JavaScript (jQuery, Bootstrap)
  • Integrate and manage data workflows using MySQL and Kafka
  • Apply design patterns and dependency injection for scalable architecture
  • Write and maintain robust unit tests to ensure code quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new functionality

What You’ll Need to be Considered

  • Experience with AI development tools, especially agentic development practices
  • Strong understanding of dependency injection and software design pattern
  • Proven ability to write and maintain unit tests in a PHP environment
  • Experience working within a legacy PHP stack and modernizing it
  • Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven architectures
