Bookkeeper/ Client Accountant

Birmingham, AL – Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote (Preference)

ITAC Solutions is assisting a well-established Birmingham-based organization in its search for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee accounting functions across multiple entities in a collaborative environment with flexibility and long-term stability.

Compensation

• $55,000–$65,000 annual salary
• Additional 5% bonus opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing
 

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions for multiple entities
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process payroll and payroll tax filings
• Prepare and file sales tax reports
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger and journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Compile and prepare financial statements and management reports

What You’ll Need to Be Considered
 

• 4+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or general accounting experience
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities required
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online REQUIRED
• Experience with payroll tax and sales tax filings
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Ability to compile financial statements
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and time management skills
