Senior Financial Accountant / Nonprofit Accountant – REMOTE CONTRACT

Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional who can jump in quickly, manage month-end responsibilities independently, and help bring structure and accuracy to key financial processes.

Compensation

• $30–40/hr
• 4–6 week contract assignment

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations including AP, cash, receivables, and investments
• Support month-end close activities and assist with catch-up accounting work
• Enter and maintain accounting data within Blackbaud and ERP systems
• Ensure accurate integration between Blackbaud, Financial Edge, and Raiser’s Edge systems
• Assist with restricted and unrestricted fund accounting activities
• Create and maintain accounting process documentation
• Partner with leadership to improve accounting workflow accuracy and efficiency

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• 4+ years of strong hands-on month-end close and general ledger experience
• Experience managing reconciliations independently
• Blackbaud experience REQUIRED
• Experience with restricted and unrestricted fund accounting REQUIRED
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Self-starter mentality with minimal oversight
