What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio
- Build lasting relationships with business owners and community leaders
- Originate, underwrite, and structure commercial lending opportunities
- Partner with credit administration to ensure sound credit decisions
- Cross-sell banking products to deepen client relationships
- Guide loans from origination through closing
- Generate new business through networking and referrals
What You’ll Need to be Considered:
- 5+ years of proven success in commercial lending within a community or regional bank
- Ability to independently underwrite and structure commercial loans
- Strong commercial business development and relationship management skills
- Established local referral network and community presence
- Comfort working in a highly autonomous lending environment
What Could Set You Apart:
- Exposure to C&I, owner-occupied CRE, or small business lending
- Formal credit training or background in credit analysis
