Our client is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial data leader who can become the trusted voice executives rely on for AI, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape the company’s first formal AI strategy, transform its data capabilities, and directly influence how a growing business operates and scales.

Compensation

• $115,000–$150,000 base salary, depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with executives to identify high-impact AI and data opportunities.

• Build the company’s first formal AI roadmap and evaluate emerging tools.

• Own data quality, governance, lineage, and master-data practices.

• Expand Power BI into a scalable analytics and forecasting environment.

• Integrate CRM and business systems into a governed data model.

• Evaluate Microsoft data technologies as the business scales.

• Mentor the existing data/systems team member on analytics best practices.

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Advanced SQL and hands-on Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Experience integrating CRM or ERP data into BI environments.

• Experience establishing data governance or quality practices.

• Experience developing forecasting or predictive reporting.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently shape strategy.

• Microsoft data-stack experience, ideally including Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, or Purview.
