Indirect Tax Accountant
Our client is seeking an Indirect Tax Accountant to join a stable, collaborative accounting team and build specialized expertise in multi-state sales and use tax. Compensation

• $65,000–$70,000 annually

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare, review and file multi-state sales and use tax returns
• Extract, validate and analyze high-volume transaction data
• Perform compliance testing and identify tax calculation or documentation issues
• Monitor tax rates, regulations and system tax configurations
• Manage exemption and resale certificate programs
• Support sales and use tax audits and related documentation
• Prepare tax-related journal entries and account reconciliations

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Sales and use tax experience across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience working within an ERP and tax engine environment
• Strong Excel skills for high-volume transactional data
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple compliance deadlines
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop deeper indirect tax expertise
