Salary: $50k/annually
*This position offers two opportunities annually for performance-based bonuses and annual merit raises.
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
- In a classroom setting, train new hires as well as existing staff (day-to-day).
- Provide in-person and virtual learning opportunities (via Microsoft Teams).
- Assist in the development and modification of the training programs taught.
- Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
- Develop and implement ideas to achieve goals and objectives; utilize resources effectively; participate in evaluating work processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Provide knowledge assessments, quizzes, and competency evaluations to prove employees understand and are able to perform their job.
- Coach and mentor employees to achieve expected proficiency levels; evaluate and document performance; serve as a technical resource and assist trainees in handling member transactions and questions; provide additional coaching and one-on-one training as necessary.
- Coordinate, schedule, and communicate training classes efficiently.
- Must encourage and motivate attendees during training sessions in order to increase participation and provide constructive feedback for training improvements.
- Travel throughout the state of Alabama as needed.
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
- Experience training and/or a degree/certification in training and facilitating.
- Energetic personality and comfortability being a “face” of the company.
- Experience training adults; Virtual training experience.
- Technical savvy; Ability to regularly utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Teams and PowerPoint).
- Comfortability with in-state travel.
