We have partnered with them on the hunt for someone savvy in procurement and SAP, with a deep understanding of Alabama State Bid Law. If you’re passionate about securing the best deals and driving success, this role was made for you!

Compensation: $70 – 82k/year

What you’ll be doing:

• Procure products and services for all departments, ensuring they meet departmental needs.
• Assist in preparing and recommending bids, RFQs, and RFPs, maintaining expertise in Alabama State Bid Law.
• Verify agreements and purchase orders for accuracy, recommending bid awards where applicable.
• Stay informed about price changes and new/improved products/services by interviewing sales reps.
• Assist with receiving, distributing supplies, and maintaining efficient inventory management processes.

What you’ll need to be considered:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 4+ years of purchasing experience
• Strong understanding of Alabama State Bid Law
• Technical efficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Ability to become a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB)
