Legal Billing Coordinator

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in compiling, managing, and executing electronic attorney billing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while maintaining the utmost confidentiality.

Compensation: $45-58K/year DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Review and edit pre-bills, responding promptly to attorney and secretary requests.
• Submit electronic bills using specialized E-billing software.
• Apply retainer funds under attorney direction and handle complex billing scenarios efficiently.
• Interact effectively with attorneys, secretaries, vendors, and clients, maintaining clear communication channels.
• Ensure accuracy of billing and supporting documentation, resolving any errors or inquiries promptly.
• Generate billing schedules and conduct various billing analyses as needed.
• Assist with special projects to contribute to the firm’s success.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Hands-on legal billing experience.
• Proficiency with Elite, Aderant, Juris, or equivalent accounting software.
• Strong command of MS Office suite.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
• Proactive mindset, able to anticipate needs and take initiative.
• Flexibility to adapt to various situations and work schedules.
