In this role, you will ensure the stability and integrity of the data communications network. You will also be responsible for the planning, configuration, and support of the network, as well as the design, implementation, installation, and troubleshooting of Cisco hardware!

Compensation: $120,000-$130,000

What you’ll be doing:

• Planning, designing, developing, and configuring the overall infrastructure and network environment.
• Maintain Cisco Communications, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco Wireless Controllers.
• Deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, UPSs, and other Network related hardware.
• Responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all network hardware, software, and communication links. 
• Monitor and respond to emergency network outages following business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
• Utilize debugging tools and monitoring systems to find solutions.
• Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and support of the Cisco VoIP network, network infrastructure, and backup systems, while assisting in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
• Assist in the planning, deployment, installation, administration, and management of data and VoIP networks.

What you’ll need to be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• 8 years of professional working experience with Cisco, LAN/WAN, and hands-on configuring routers/switches experience.
• Experience with CISCO IOS, HP/Aruba Switches, SilverPeak SD-WAN, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Aruba ClearPass.
• Prior experience working as a Network Engineer in a PC/LAN environment with knowledge of Cisco products, including VoIP telephone systems
• Experienced in planning, deployment, installation, administration, and management of data and VoIP networks
• Experience with LAN/WAN and WLAN design, implementation, and configuration
• Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and support of the Cisco VoIP network, network infrastructure, and backup systems, while assisting in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions
• Skilled in network capacity planning, network security principles, and network best practices
• Ability to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide team and end-user training where required.
• Ability to work well under pressure, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
