Bookkeeper/Accountant

Accountant / Bookkeeper / Sales & Use Tax (6-8 month Contract with benefits) 

Step into a stable manufacturing operation covering a maternity leave, where you’ll keep the accounting engine running for a well-established, family-owned luxury brand. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit team, handling day-to-day accounting with the autonomy to jump in wherever needed. Compensation

• $25 – $31/hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions
• Assist with sales/use tax reporting
• Help prepare and clean up aging reports
• Support month-end close processes
• Step in on journal entries and ad hoc accounting needs as they arise
• Work alongside the AR Specialist and report to the Credit/AR Manager
• Adapt quickly to existing systems and workflows with minimal ramp-up

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Sales and use tax experience
• Strong bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Comfortable with ERP systems and learning new platforms
• Advanced Excel skills
• Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently
