Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to serve as a critical quality-control resource, ensuring accurate and compliant tax filings while helping a growing public accounting practice deliver exceptional client service during its busiest time of year.

Compensation

• Up to $80/hour, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review tax returns prepared by Associates for accuracy and compliance
• Evaluate individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and C-Corporation returns
• Identify issues, risks, and opportunities before partner review
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and firm quality standards
• Communicate review notes and technical guidance to team members
• Manage a high-volume review workload during peak tax season
• Support partners by serving as a key review layer in the tax process

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience required
• Active CPA license required
• Experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
• Experience with UltraTax, CCH Axcess, or similar public accounting tax software
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong technical tax review and quality-control capabilities
