Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and evolve secure, scalable cloud environments supporting mission-critical federal operations. You’ll directly influence how enterprise cloud capabilities are delivered with speed, resilience, and precision.

Compensation

• Up to $55/hr, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and manage Azure infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking
• Implement security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, policies, and monitoring tools
• Support migration of on-prem systems into Azure with minimal disruption
• Develop and deploy cloud solutions using Azure services such as Logic Apps
• Manage hybrid identity systems including Active Directory and Entra Connect

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• AZ-104 or higher Azure certification
• Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
• Strong Azure networking, monitoring, and security platform knowledge
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Bicep
• Familiarity with virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes
