Our client, a fast-growing federal contractor supporting engineering, manufacturing, and construction management across the country, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to help keep its multi-entity, multi-state payroll running smoothly. This is a chance to be a core part of a two-person team responsible for payroll across 8 legal entities and roughly 550 employees in 35+ states.

Compensation

• $80,000 – $90,000

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll for ~550 employees across 8 legal entities
• Handle bi-weekly payroll cycles, including a separate California cycle
• Process payroll for hourly, salaried employees
• Manage time sheet corrections
• Support workers’ compensation audits
• Coordinate multi-state tax compliance through ADP
• Serve as backup for a payroll counterpart across all cycles

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Payroll processing experience within Deltek Costpoint
• Multi-state payroll experience
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail across multiple entities and cycles
